On the Georgia coast, the species we work with are incredibly abundant and are often treated as a nuisance when they bloom and wash up in large numbers. Instead of ignoring or wasting them, we’ve developed a way to turn this local, underutilized resource into a clean‑label collagen for skincare.
Because jellyfish tissue is naturally soft and gelatinous, our extraction process is much simpler and lower‑impact than traditional bovine collagen, which often requires heavy processing and chemical treatment to break down cow hide. In choosing this path, our goal is to create a more sustainable collagen option while supporting local harvesters and processors during the slow season.
